Minetest! é uma game engine criada para criar jogos com o estilo voxel.
O legal, é que com o recurso de jogos multiplayer, são criados a partir dela, jogos com propósito educacional.
Com certeza, usando de jeito certo, o Minetest consegue ser uma ferramenga poderosa em sala de aula.
@frufruzinho ele até pode não ser pensado em educação na sua essência, mas é tão usado pra isso que no próprio site tem uma seção só para experiências educacionais. 🙂
Eu adoro o #Minetest (e tenho horas suficientes de jogo para provar isso) 😄 . E além do uso educacional dele enquanto jogo, tem um "metauso", que é trabalhar com os alunos a criação/alteração de mods, que é bem simples de fazer.
Eu sou fascinado com a forma como filmes são produzidos, os detalhes técnicos, os artifícios. Mas nunca tinha ouvido falar do fotoplayer nem sabia do seu papel em filmes mudos. E depois de ver os vídeos desse artigo minha cabeça explodiu!

O maior obstáculo no acesso de pessoas cegas ao Linux é que os poucos apps leitores de tela (screenreaders) existentes são antiquados, bugados e lentos.
Tem uma galera que eu conheço e boto muita fé trabalhando num novo screen reader, em Rust, que seja estável, expansível com addons e rápido. Se isso der certo, vai impactar enormemente a vida de pessoas cegas dentro e fora do meio da tecnologia no mundo inteiro, vai ser quase tão significativo quanto a invenção do braille, e não estou exagerando.
Mas eles precisam de colaboradores pro desenvolvimento. É em Rust, mas entendidos em speech synthesis também são muito bem-vindos.
Isso é muito importante, agradeço todo boost.

Como você deve saber os padrões de projeto vieram das idéias do Christopher Alexander para problemas recorrentes em arquitetura e urbanismo, talvez nessas linguagens de alto nivel que já "resolvem" mais naturalmente os tipos de problema descritos originalmente pela gangue dos quatro, talvez esteja na hora de tentar catalogar e fazer sugestões [de padrões] para problemas num grau acima de abstração sabe... tipo, os padrões agora seriam sobre CRUD, autenticação, sincronização (chutando aqui pq não sou desenvolvedor profissional).
